Welcome to Treatment Planning: A  WebQuest   Treatment planning was designed at an introductory level for first year dental hygiene students in a 2-year program. It lends itself to creative problem-solving. Students will process information in a meaningful way, one in which they can see the application immediately. The students have an opportunity to interact, to view topics from various perspectives, and to get a better understanding of the problem-solving process.

My students are using an on-line discussion in Course Space, an adjunctive cyber-tool for our course. In Course Space I will play the role of both patients to answer questions regarding the patient's current knowledge and home practices regarding oral care.

The format used for treatment planning follows the ADHA's recommendations.
